| So, I know it's been quite awhile since I've done a significant update, but here's one for you!
Right now, I'm finishing up my last summer class, which will end on
June 8th, and then I'll be driving to Florida to live with Pete and
Jess for the summer!! How cool is that?!!! Pretty cool if I do say so
myself! I'll be working for the summer and chillin' with them! I'm
totally stoked!
This past weekend, I played the piano for my great friend Colleen
Owen's wedding. She married Chuck Scarborough! It was beautiful and,
praise the Lord, the songs went great! I played "Legends of the Fall"
(from the movie "Legends of the Fall"), "Lane's Theme" (from the movie
"8 Seconds"), "Let Me In" (from the movie "Rigoletto"), "Mi Mancherai"
(from Josh Groban's album "Closer"), "La Valse D'Amelie" (from the
movie "Amelie"), "Kissing You" (from "Romeo and Juliet"), and, GET
THIS, "Don't Stop Me Now" (from "Queen"). It was so much fun! And the
reception was absolutely fun too! I danced for the first time in my
life and loved it!
Then I spent the rest of the weekend with my brother and sister-in-law
Pete and Jess, and my younger brother Dan, and also friends Brian and
Andrea Hosan! It was a blast! It was a real blessing to be able to
see more friends from Word of Life too!

| Good times with friends!! I got to see my old roomie, Julie Ely!!!! It was great to see her on Sunday and catch up on life. I miss her tons - and it was great to see her husband Josh too! Here's a pic!

| HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!! I'm 22!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So yesterday was my birthday and I was so glad to be home for the weekend. We actually celebrated my birthday on Saturday because we knew that Sunday would be really busy and I had to drive back up to school that night, so.... It was loads of fun to be with family! We had Papa John's pizza and my birthday cake (every year) is cheesecake with strawberries on top!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM  !!
Before my birthday party on Saturday, I went to my friend Steph's surprise bridal shower!! It was so great to see her and my other friends Sarah and Arlee!! So, here's a pic of the 4 of us.

So, I'm pretty sure that every time Jess updates for me, somehow that spurs me on to make my own update!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!
Today is my first college snow day EVER!! That's right, even though I live, eat, and have classes in the same building, we have no school today because of the crazy snowstorm that we're having today. Right now there's almost 2 ft of snow outside and it's still snowing strong! It's awesome! So I've decided that, since I have an extra day of free time, I should use it to update.
This semester has been crazy, but amazing! I'm still teaching English every week to Jong Soon, and I love it so much! Here's a picture from our ESL (English as a Second Language) party last December!
Jong Soon, her daughter Chae Min (who comes every week too - she's 3 or 4 and super adorable!) and me!
I'm also still involved in a Chic Band - it's totally awesome! We play for chapel every other Tuesday. I love it that God has allowed me to be able to get involved here on campus so much! And I get to play the piano all the time!
I'm also tutoring a fellow student - helping her with English Composition I. I love to be able to help her, challenge her, and also just to listen to her! She loves to talk, and I love to listen, so I'm glad that I can do that for her!
In addition to tutoring, I also work in our Writing Skills Center, which is a place where students can come to get help with writing papers and to have help proof-reading! I love it!
Yet another thing I'm involved in is a choir that was started this semester! I haven't been able to be in a choir since my first year at WOLBI! I really miss it and love singing again!
So that brings us back to today and the outstanding snow day that we're having! It's snowing like crazy, and I decided to go out today and take some pictures around campus. Here they are!
